A LENTEN PARISH MISSION with Fr. Dominic Borg, OCD.

A mission is a very special and important part of a parish because it helps us to take time out to refresh our faith and gives us an opportunity to see new horizons in our life journey to God.  It is a time for the entire parish to look together at what is truly life giving and a chance to rediscover the peace and joy of knowing the love of Christ.

You are invited to join our Parish Mission beginning Monday, March 23 through to Wednesday, March 25 from 7:00 pm – 8:30pm with Fr. Dominic Borg, OCD. Fr. Dominic Borg, born in Malta, is a Discalced Carmelite, serving 54 years as priest. In 1983 he was sent to Canada by Pope John Paul II to catechize in places-Quebec, Toronto and Vancouver. He completed his studies in Philosophy and Biblical languages in Oxford, U.K. He is a member of the British and Foreign bible society and United Bible Societies. Presently, he is serving as Chaplain at the Carmelite Cloistered Nuns in Sephyr, Ontario. His deep knowledge of Scripture makes him a great teacher and retreat preacher.
