My dear Friends in the Lord, are you feeling empty? Is there something missing in your life, even when you are successful and doing well? Do you feel that there is a vacuum in your life that you cannot explain? Are you just drifting along, not knowing where you should expend your energy and time? You are doing many things but nothing seems fulfilling. Indeed, deep in our hearts, many of us want to return to the Lord. This is because our lives are fulfilled in God alone. Our longings are realized in God alone. We want to recover our sense of direction in life. If you are feeling this way, then the Church is providing you a time of grace, the holy season of Lent, for you to return to the Lord and to find your true inner peace again. St. Paul writes, for the Lord says, “At an acceptable time I have listened to you, and on a day of salvation I helped you. See, now is the acceptable time; now is the day of salvation!” 2 Corinthians 6:2.

Indeed, this Lent is the best time to return to God and find inner peace again.
