 An Invitation to the Festival of Faith

Fr. Chris Kulig is a Carmelite priest of 23 years. He holds a Master of Arts degree in Theology from Boston College and a Masters of Divinity from the Washington Theological Union. Fr. Chris was born in Parma, Ohio (a suburb of Cleveland), and has served in various educational and parish apostolates administered by the Carmelites of the Most Pure Heart of Mary Province in the United States and Canada. He has served in the Diocese of St. Catharine’s since 2012 and is currently ministering as a spiritual director on the retreat staff at the Monastery of Mount Carmel in Niagara Falls. Fr. Chris took the Oath of Citizenship on March 1, 2022, and counts himself as a proud American-Canadian. His spiritual and academic interests center on Carmelite spirituality, especially Therese of Lisieux, Teresa of Avila, and John of the Cross, but also include dream interpretation, 12 step spirituality, and the works of essayist G.K. Chesterton and theologian Bernard Lonergan
